Description
You know, the hardest part about this picture was redesigning the so-called "assault rifle" in Deus Ex so that it makes sense. It still pretty much doesn't, but at least it has a folding stock.
Anyway, this is Anna Navarre from Deus Ex. "Flatlander Woman" is another name that only makes sense if you play through the game. I tried to recreate her appearance to be as close to the way she appears in the original game, while also trying to keep in mind what the mechanical augmentations looked like in Deus Ex Human Revolution in the year 2027, and tried to make it fit the year 2052. Yeah it isn't exactly easy. I wonder if the original artists of Deus Ex made the mechanically augmented people look intentionally primitive to make it clearer how obsolete they are compared to nanotech cyborgs, because in HR the mech-augs look much more advanced.
